Inspire confidence, ambition and creativity in this highly successful course ranging from 7 years up to adult, which zooms up the ladder through a dazzling array of musical styles and techniques.

‘Junior Play for Keeps’ teaches children from the age of 5 how to play the keyboard.
The main focus of this course is:
• a fun approach to learning music
• building self-confidence
• developing co-ordination and motor skills
• introducing the basics of keyboard and piano technique
• fast-paced sequence of activities
• listening, singing and reading activities
• the aim of taking the student to an intermediate level
Who can take part? Children aged between 5 and 7 years
Lesson duration: Around 55 minutes for a group lesson
Lesson cost: £10.50 per lesson

‘Play for Keeps’ teaches children aged 8 years upward, teenagers and adults how to play the keyboard.
The main focus of this course is:
• to develop outstanding keyboard and piano skills
• to help the student to become an all-round musician who is comfortable in a range of styles and has a good repertoire
• to develop strong technique, fluent reading ability, a sound theoretical grasp and good aural skills
• to gain expertise in arranging and improvising
Who can take part? Children from 8 years upward, teenagers and adults
Length of lesson: Around 55 minutes for a group lesson
